Life Goal...

One of my life goals is to be able to earn enough/save up enough money to buy a real honest to god complete dinosaur skeleton.

In the mean time though, I have my sights set on this bad boy:

Fuck yes.

This little beauty (ok not so little..) will only set you back $7,500: an absolute bargain considering the last dino that captured my heart was listed at $790,800.

It's a resin replica offered up by the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History, and a portion of the sales goes to further their work.
See??? It's like giving to CHARITY!

Which reminds me:

Anyone know what happened to that triceratops that was meant to be auctioned off back in April 2008? I know it didn't make the reserve... some lucky bastard probably just bought it outright I guess.

I had tried to convince my parents to mortgage their house and buy it, but somehow they didn't see it for the sound financial investment I did.

For those of you in the London:

Go see "Sorry" by Footsbarn in Victoria Park!

Jack and I went last night and it was really good fun. Beautiful animals and an over all pleasurable if rather bazaar experience --- Just how I like 'em.

There isn't reserved seating, so make sure you go early and sit at the front if you can!

We shot the first video for the new collection last week---

Produced by Polzer Hoffstedt, the crew was great and I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product!

Highlights included AMAZING food by Sophie Campbell (never had such good black beans in london!) and INCREDIBLE special affects (blood mania!) by Emma Alexandra Watts.

Some Rat-Related News (new and old)

Just thought I would share the Guardian's latest article on rat fur:

And this amazing video my Aunt Louisa shared with me:

For some reason it wouldn't let me embed this video,
but it's very funny, and worth a look!

Tourist Magazine:

One of my favorite bloggers: Phillippa Snow (Trashforce Reaper) has just moved over to Tourist Magazine, and I couldn't be happier! She seems to have joined forces with other similarly (genius) minded people resulting in an incredible info / visual feast!

I practically pissed myself when I saw that Phillippa had picked up on my recent duck shield post. You can read her wise words here.

She also seems to have pretty great taste in collaborators. The following roadkill deer image is from one of her fellow Tourist Mag contributors (Arvida Byström ):
